Who is Dr. Aron Choi?
I am dedicated to helping you restore health and vitality, optimize your health for optimal performance, and maximize your health span and life span.
Along the way, you will learn more about yourself and what is right for you.
I am a high-performance health advisor, naturopathic doctor, and health practitioner helping people who value health as their greatest asset.
You do not need to be fixed…
I am not here to attempt to fix you. Maybe other doctors will try to fix you, but I have learned that nature and your body are responsible for healing.
I am the part guide, part coach, and part teacher. I help you create health in order to reverse and prevent disease.
The backstory…
As a child, I was the sensitive kid. I had a peanut allergy and would get severe asthma every time I caught a cold.
As a teenager, I had bad acne and felt like I was in a constant brain fog.
I was quiet and did not feel engaged. I also felt like my mood, despite my positive nature, was often depressed.
As an adult in my 20’s, I developed eczema and experienced my first migraines.Despite my eczema and occasional migraine, my doctor told me I was “healthy” and did not need to come back for 5 years. Not to mention, I would probably have to use that corticosteroid cream for my eczema for the rest of my life.
This did not make any sense to me whatsoever.
“So I have to wait until there is something very wrong before I come back to see my doctor?”
In addition to that, my mother, a pharmacist, always advised me that prevention is always better than medication.
Fast forward to today, my brain fog is gone, I have not had asthma in decades, my eczema is all but vanished, and my brain fog has lifted.
I can have “bad” foods like dairy and gluten on occasion and even traces of peanuts without having major reactions.
The odd thing to me is that I was never “diagnosed” with anything. If I had waited for a diagnosis, it would probably be too late.
If I reflect on my last 10 years, my approach has been:
- First, strengthen health on all levels
- Address symptoms as they come up but always search for the root cause
- Use higher force interventions if and when necessary
I am a health practitioner because it is easier to focus on health versus curing a disease.
There is a difference between putting out a fire vs. clearing away dry brush before it can catch fire.
The way I know to best help you is by doing first things first–create a foundation of health that is right for you.
